She danced in her first music video for the popular Dominican Republic band "IDIC", and and eventually did another. On stage she was a lead in the musical, "A Woman, A Gift" as a Tap dancing gang member.  The start of her dance company career was with an all girl group company, "Elemental Remix", then moved on to the renowned "Funkanometry SF." Before moving and during her two year stay in Los Angeles, Lauren has produced/directed a yearly dance showcase featuring companies like Booftroop, Funkanometry, Quest (winner's of ABDC season 2), as well as her students.

Once in Los Angeles in 2007 she started teaching movement and dance to disabled adults who you've seen on TV shows such as ER, Saving Grace and many more.
